  1. The idea behind the "Trait suggestions with NO addictive mechanic" is to have no in game caused addictions meaning that for the addicted it will be a new need that the character needs to fur fill. Meaning that addiction will be a optional penalty. And addiction to coffee! Diffidently!
  2. Hello! Been playing PZ a while now and as a role player i tend to give my character a flavor and a personality. The new trait system really nails it and really gives the character allot of flavor and new possibilities within the system. So i was playing the other day and figured why not my character should start to smoke. System wise this doesn’t give anything except for a happiness decrees and stress release and nothing more positive and nothing negative and that got me thinking. Why not have a system where you actually can get addicted or can select a trait giving you and addiction. Trait suggestions with NO addictive mechanic: Addicted to Smokes The character is addicted to smokes and need to smoke regularly or else you’ll get stressed. Creation point +1 Alcoholic The character is an alcoholic and requires alcohol to stay calm. Creation point +2 Suggestive addiction mechanic: Painkillers, Smokes and Alcohol have an addiction value. When consumed you'll have an X% change of being addicted to the substance the base chance is low but is increased when consumed multiply times and often The chance is also adjusted if you have the Easily Addicted or decreased if you have the Not Easily Addicted trait. When addicted; your character will require the substance regally if you don’t consume the substance suffer a withdrawal effect; bad mood let, nervous and stressed. The penalties will subside within 2 or 3 days if you don’t consume the substance. Trait suggestions related to the addiction mechanic: Easily Addicted This trait increases the change of the character being addicted to substances when consumed. Not Easily Addicted This trait will decree the change of the character being addicted to substances when consumed. You always need more darker stuff to a already depressive and dark game

    Could maby work I will look and see if i can get it balanced Also here is the Flushed up on the shore code. Will add the professions later on so it does not bug out.     Thx for the support then it's not a waste of time. The spawn points are still random to some extent and some what profession based. So if I make a "I'm in the wood" it will probably spawn you some were in the wood somewhere on the map random.Race track spawn could be some kind of "I was having a day off spawning you depending on profession on the racetrack or on another location. A hunting one could definitely be done

    Hello! I am Evul or Cold Evil, and i tend to mod things. I was searching around on the forum and searched everywhere on google but never found any mod/addon that actually added more spawn points. So i started to make a bunch. I currently have 2 fully functional spawn points; Flushed up on the shore and I was shopping. Spawnpoint background and description. Flushed up on the shore "You just woke up on the shore and have no direct memory on what happend or were you are. try to find your self to civilization." The Flushed up spawn point spawns you some were on the river shore near a point of interest.I was shopping "I was shopping when i heard the moaning and screams." The shopping spawn points spawns you some were inside a store (including the mall) some were on the map. I am correctly working on the I was at work spawn points, spawning you some were inside a suitable work place. Police officer in a police station etc. And will make a I was at home were depending on kind of profession/occupation will spawn you in a nice or less nice house. I will also make I was at a restaurant and I was at the bar. Let me know if you want more scenario spawning.
  6. I’ve been looking on the Dec Adventures Multiplayer videos and that got me thinking. They are using Voice chat but why not implement a in game voice chat which have the same effect of the Q button IF you talk to loud. If people have played ArmA 3 addons or some Battlefield 2 mods people might be familiar with the 3D sound system that TeamSpeak make it possible to have. I think some kind of VOIP should be implemented that have a direct effect on the environment adding some strategic use of you voice to the game instead of the normal Q button. Either way you change the level of voice or the system recognize the volume of your voice. Toughs?
