  1. Maybe not the best video to convey that message, considering they gave up development on "Clang!"
  2. I love the stuff in this thread, and it encouraged me to post something I've been working on for the last few days. Some back-story is probably necessary for this. An old friend of mine is starting up a Dark Sun campaign (a D&D campaign setting where metal is scarce, magic is mostly reviled and the environment itself is trying to murder you) and we've got a small group involved. We met a few weeks ago to create our characters and after noticing that Athasian (the world in Dark Sun is Athas) Dwarves were hairless and also had goals they would fixate on completing, I immediately decided I wanted to play a Dwarf who was focused on getting a beard. Until he can find some way to get a real beard, whether through a fake one made out of hair from various sources or some Faustian bargain with a Sorcerer-King, I decided he would have gotten a tattooed beard (and eyebrows!). Add an axe-like weapon called a "Gouge" and that I also imagined him looking slightly like Bob Hoskins and you've got basically what I've attempted to depict: Still a lot of spots I need to touch up- it's hard to step away from it. Still, it was a bit out of my comfort zone art-wise and I'm decently happy with it. If I can stop fretting over it I'll move on to my wife's character portrait
  3. It worked! Thank you!
  4. Multiplayer Sandbox. (If it's of any help, about one month in, and one month left to go til the power should go out (I set the shutoff in the settings to 60)).
  5. I had the problem of not being able to add a server to the server list and the stove not working. I can add a server now, but the stove still won't turn on.
  6. I don't post much, but I just wanted to stop in and say thank you to the devs. This build has been incredible and I am having a ton of fun with it!
  7. Got to watching some past SirTwiggy streams the other day and it got me thinking. Thinking can be dangerous: sometimes it leads to drawing a Spiffo with nonsensically placed glasses and an inexplicable goatee even though he already has facial hair.
  8. Hi everyone, long time lurker, recent addition to the forums here. I (like most of you, I assume) really love Project Zomboid, but one of the things that really caught my interest was the fantastic artwork, both in and out of the game. I don't get to draw much, or at least not as much as I'd like to/should, and I tend to get so caught up in the mistakes I make that I rarely finish anything. The other day I noticed that VikiDikiRUS had requested help from anyone that could make a Spiffo avatar for him. I thought what he described sounded pretty adorable (as is, well, anything Spiffo-related) and fired up ArtRage and plugged in the Wacom my wife got me for Christmas in a good-natured ploy to get me drawing again that didn't really work. I got to sketching it and before long I actually liked it enough to timidly put it out into the dark and scary interwebs: Along with some positive feedback the process left me feeling confident enough/inspired enough to try my hand at making one more (and it might be the last for awhile, my hand and eyes are absolutely killing me): I just wanted to share them with everyone and take the chance to thank Mash for the fantastic artwork she makes and the inspiration it gave me to get drawing again. I also wanted to see if anyone else had any Spiffo fanart they might like to make/share. The world really can't get enough Spiffo, in my opinion.
  9. This is simply amazing. The mod looks incredible and the artwork is just awesome. Also, a Twiggy stream? My cup runneth over Thank you so much!
