  1. This was my idea. Yes add money. http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/8811-cannibalism-flashlights-etc/#entry115388
  2. Craft poncho from garbage bag would be cool. or going into a tent but you cant cuz youre mever sleepy. And yup and you can read in the dark. Craft poncho from garbage bag would be cool. or going into a tent but you cant cuz youre mever sleepy. And yup and you can read in the dark.
  3. Really..? Really? hmm.... Really ... ? That's realism for you? ^^ You must have a sucky schoolbag.... ^^ No... I have too much junk!
  4. Would be cool tho. It would be like mr zombies neighborhood. Fred rogers will turn in his grave.
  5. I would do that. Would be easy to add too. On another sleep note. You should be able to sleep inside a tent, especially when raining. Nothin as frustrating as being soak to the bone in the rain while a tent is right next to you.
  6. I think theyre working on that where random events will happen. I think its called sadistic director, not sure but search for it. But before they do anymore more with the zombies I think they need to fix all the zombie related bugs. There are so many some very obvious: Dissapearing zombies. Zombies not registering attacks. Zombies switching position with another zombie. Zombie stuck running on fences. Zombie with human animations. 7 zombies jumping through window at the same time. Limit use of window to one zombie at a time. Zombies AI isnt random enough, they all make a beeline to you at the same time. Give them random delayed reaction times. Also random speeds? Too many zombies overlapping. Try spacing them out more. To where theyre shoulder to shoulder. I do like the knife up the throat kill. Other weapons should have a sweet spot as well. Any weapong you swing, the most force is at the furthest distance of the object.

  8. On another note about eating. Eating a food when you are starving to death giving you boredom is kind of weird. Should give you gratefulness or blessedness. Don't you think? It would make more sense if eating the same thing consecutively give you boredom.
  9. The fire spreading system. Not sure if this should go under bugs or suggestions but the fire seems quite off. I built a camp in the woods, got a fire going, walked through it and lit myself. Ran around and a few other things started burning. And then I died. OK. Cool. Good. That's fine. Came back the next day. Made a few new characters and came back to the spot. The forest was fine but the CAMP IS STILL BURNING. It was burning in the weirdest random spots and kept burning the same burn spots that were already burnt from burning. Redundant? Yeaaaa. What kind of fire sticks around that long? Its like a 40 yr old virgin still living with mom and doesn't want to move out. The spreading of fire shouldnt be that insane, especially if there is no way to put it out. It looks as if it teleports to different tiles. Here are some suggestions to make it more lifelike. Have the fire die out completely once the fuel on tile is depleted. If an adjacent tile is flammable & not already on fire, after every 5 to 10 seconds, give it a chance to catch on fire. The bigger the flame size, the better the chance of fire. No teleporting to different tiles, only touching ones. Don't need to worry about diagonals. Top, bottom, left, and right should do. If those tiles catch fire, they will take care of the diagonals next. Animation. Seems like there are 3 or 4 different sized ones that pop in and out. Very noticeable. Have one animation fadeout while the new one fades in, overlapping. Or scale the animation up or down to fit the previous. Not sure what your animation system can do but that should make it smoother. Player interaction. Have a random amount of time it takes for the player to catch fire. 3-10 seconds And not always instantly when standing on the fire. Id like to be able to stomp out a small fire or pour water on the bigger ones, reduce its size then stomp out as I see fit. Corpses should burn and turn blackish, right know they look perfectly uncharred after a fire. TL;DR Redundant fire is redundant.
  10. The public server lists is really nice. Makes it so much easier to find people to play with, a very attractive feature for multiplayer games. I would like a way to cancel a current connection to a server. Right now there is now way to stop it. I can try connecting to a saved server and a public server at the same time which is confusing.
  11. See toilets? Why? How about hear toilets? Also smell, toilets.
  12. you know what is realistic? Running and your bag rips from too much junk.
  13. Well never mind you then. I will need a more fun way to kill zombies boredom is high right now =P
  14. Most major games you can loot when near a corpse or container. Its accessible to new players, especially when there's so much. Why wouldn't you want more people playing PZ instead of quitting do to repetitiveness? Do you really need to stick your head directly in the box to loot? Maybe you do but not everyone is like that. What are you an ostrich? I don't think you read the whole thread, just the OP huh? lol. Read the thread. I would also like to add about light/dark... reading speed should be increased during the day or around a light source, and lower dramatically without light. Right now I can read in the dark just fine. I must have Superman vision. And you missed the whole point about hunger. I am not looking for obvious solutions to in game problems. What I want, and what everyone wants is a visceral experience. A story to tell. We want to feel and experience things in our games, things we can't in real life. Normally, I wouldn't eat a person. Normally, I wouldn't eat dog food. Normally, I wouldn't drink from the toilet. The more unique experiences I have the longer I will want to play, and tell my friends about it. I heard about this game mainly from word of mouth, from digging around on the internet, youtube etc from people who enjoyed it enough to talk about it. More people would talk about it if they had more stories to tell. Add cannibalism, though people don't have to know its in there. This game is about crafting so let us play and let us craft our own stories. That sounds really cool way to craft, I wish they would add it. Even use bones for weapons or craft materials. I am a programmer and game designer so I know all the functionally is already there. So easy to implement. Regular gamers aren't going to go out and install mods, its a hassle. Another thing I'd like to add is money. People have strong feelings about money. They either love it or think its evil. You find a wallet or purse(small container) you open it up. BAM YOURE RICH! Wait... its the zombie apocalypse.. Money will have no value besides crafting or burning as fuel. This money that you treasured so much and would never dare burn prior is now keeping you warm and you have all night to think about it. Money in the game represents the downfall of society.
  15. I think that's a confirmed 'No', if I recall correctly Well there is going to be "Passing out" in the game. Not sure how it is being implemented I'm guessing it is single player only. But if its to be in multiplayer, I don't see why you can't knock a player out. A feature shouldn't be a one trick pony it should be used creatively with multiple applications.
