This mod is an answer to my own suggestion here :

Handmade Wooden Dowels are pieces of wood that experimented roofmakers and cabinetmakers are using to build some "full wooden furnitures / structures" for cottage furnishing and strong roof structures.

If you want to know how does it works or why is it so hard to use and why it's really something reallistic :

- Sawing dowels now makes the saw noise
- New recipe ! You can now manage to craft one dowel from a treebrach
- In order to make the mod more realistic, you can now use alternatives to the screwdriver to carve your dowels (Kitchen or Hunting knife)

I'm back from my vacation and currently stitching another 2000 screenshots to improve the quality of the Muldraugh city area.
 
I'll also try to create a smaller version of the map for offline use, but don't expect that this week.

You are right ! the original menu is now fuck up ! 
 
even if i've made a second menu for thedowel building... Duh so close 
 
 
EDIT : still not fixed... I've manage to get back the "nails" in the original crafing menu but the menu tell me that I have not the items requied... But in facts I have them, how could I fix that kind of bug
 
In fact I have created a parallel "ISBuildMenu2" in my mod but it seems to take the advantage on the original and makes the original menu here but always showing tha I hav'nt the material with me :/
 

 
But the 6 planks are detected by the Builld with Dowels menu :/
 
REDIT : FIXED IT ON MY OWN ! Dude I'm on a row now ! I'm getting more and more familiar with this lua thing ahah ! 
 
It wasn't working because I was using the same : "haveSomethingtoBuild" function as the vanilla building menu !

I love this idea.
Wooden Dowel Pins  (Chevilles) would open up a whole new set of constructables and modded items.

Well I was to much lazy to create a new account untill i'll be motivated to do so...
 
So here I am ! To make a sugestion about carpentry !
 
Note : As Kinyoshi pointed out, what I call Cheville is Wooden Dowel pins.
In fact, my suggestion is about Carpenter's Handmade Wooden Dowel pins (not the Ikea's little ones).

This is the second part of my suggestion, it's a lot about my personal experience with Handmade Wooden Pins.
Including how does it works, where does this method came from and some examples to show why it could be a good thing to unlock at level 4 and 5 in carpentry.

To show my devotion to this project, I have also made some icons pixel art sprites, modders should chek these out !
I'm about to do wall, floor and maybe furniture textures, but I need the original textures to do so,
does anyone know where to find the vanilla tiles for items on the map ?

Dowels ! Thats kida something like this yeah.
 
But the pictures on Wikipedia of  wooden dowels are the Ikea's wooden dowels.
 
The carpenters that have worked on my grand father house has made a full dressing and also the whole roof framework with different sized, homemade wooden dowels (like the ones on the presentation picture).
 
But I think you are wright, the english word is dowel !
 
Wich means we should also find some "wooden dowel pins" in the D.I.Y. shop's crates.
