The owners of the house never came, and he was sure they would never come back. Venturing outside, he saw the desolated and quiet city. The onslaught was far from over, and it didn't seem like help was coming anytime soon, let alone at all. With the thick scent of blood, he easily caught a familiar air. Through all the slaughter that he had witnessed, he still assured what this city was. He gazed across the street and saw a group of what seemed to be sane and living people. A militia?
