  1. This still a thing? This sounds like something that would be incredibly Interesting to do. Would love to wet my Multiplayer Feet with some really neat Co-op Action.
  2. Flatscreen Plasma TV's also say otherwise, I'd imagine that the Laser Discs are just leftover from when the people owned them when they were a thing, just like I still have Cassette tapes in my House(and a cassette deck) So, It'd be safe to assume that the game takes place in a more Modern Era. (~2006+) there has been some debate centered around those tv's. even Mashed Potato could not quite explain what happened there. but the absolute fact remains that we don't yet know the era the game is supposed to be set in. assuming the laser disk is a leftover, where are the VHS and Beta tapes? no DVD either. Going on the Lack of VHS makes me wonder why Laserdisc is even around in the First place.. VHS came before the Laserdisc, Yet VHS does not exist ingame. It's hella confusing. Plasma TV's and Laserdiscs, Yet DVD's and VHS' are missing.

  4. A Map like this http://pzmap.crash-override.net/ would be pretty awesome! You actually have to look at the map and at your surroundings to know where you are.
  5. Remember that one scene in the Walking Dead Game? Where they come across that Corpse barricade? I'd love to be able to build those myself Strike fear into the minds of others, and I suppose they try to climb over it, They have a chance to get sick, just like Barbed Wire Fences will have a chance to scratch you. I'd LOVE to be able to employ Scare Tactics like this!
  6. If you pile them Properly, You can indeed make walls and what have you out of Corpses, It would work on the Same principals of Sand Bags and related things. In the event you do not have the required faith in Proper Stacking techniques rope could be used to make it secure.
  7. I'd guarantee that you'd be able to make a server private with a "Direct Connect" Only button of sorts. But yeah, With the Rampant Hacking and Cheating, Publicizing Server lists is probably not the greatest ideas, Passworded or not, It probably won't work.
  8. Making Servers usable and able to be made without the enormous headache it is should be Top Priority for MP related work, but afaik, They aren't working on such improvements atm. (Still haven't been able to make a Server, That guide is useless asf)
  9. Rotten Meat should be the Only Rotten Food usable for Zombait(Whilst Rotten Veggies and other none meat should be Compostable)
  10. Wow, Why didn't I even think of this when I first saw Playing Cards.. To be able to play Poker(or w/e) and Wager Items with other players (And eventually NPC's) would be AMAZING!!
  11. Dunno, But building a Water Powered generator really isn't as hard as one may think, It's really just the matter of attaching a Water Wheel to the Crank in a Gas Powered Generator. Rather than being powered by the Motor inside, It'll be powered by the Water, Only problem is getting the wheel to spin the Crank part fast enough. Maybe it could require a Car Transmission to build or something.
  12. I've survived a little over 2 months, Still have yet to run out of Zombies, I suppose it may be limited, but with the Ambient Noises causing Migrations and what have you, It'll take some time before you run out. But I Absolutely agree, Keeping a Constant flow of Zombies coming in from the Map edges would be great.
  13. As the post above Says, Taking Control from the Player is just outright terrible Game design, Too many games nowadays do it, where in some cases you spend more time Stunlocked, Than ACTUALLY playing the Game. Now, Not to say the Tripping mechanic is a bad one, But rather than Outright Stopping the player and taking control away, Slowing them down considerably and having predefined objects that cause tripping would be a much, much better alternative. It'd maintain the Tripping hazards, whilst keep the Player in control at all times, Because face it, Do YOU want to play a game where you can't actually play, Because you are constantly tripping? (I was playing Magicka the other day, I came accross the Ice Sword wielding Goblins, They perma froze me until I died, and proceeded to do so until I quit and went to Play something else, Something else that doesn't take control from me and allows me to continue playing)
  14. So, I grabbed 4 logs, Noticed "Extremely Heavy Load" "Threatened back injury, movement compromised" Now, PZ's Realism is based on what we everyday people can do, Well, As someone who works in Retail, Stocking shelves and what have you, I can say with Experience, That as long as you move slowly and Carefully enough, You will not hurt yourself while lifting very heavy items. I'm not sure if the Back Injury is in the game yet, But when it does(or if it is already) The back injury should only have a chance to happen if you sprint, further emphasizing "Slow and steady wins the race" Just my thoughts, Tell me what you think.
