  1. Is there a way to make random rappers and such appear throughout the world? But not in containers? Just like on the ground?
  2. I would like to see more skills for in the skill tree. Also would be really nice to find books/notes/scraps of paper telling/teaching you a new use or a better use for a skill. IE: Basic book on Plants: Teaches the differences of basic plants and what to look for. The book tells you what berries are poisonous and the book gives you a subskill to forage to finding specific plants once read.
  3. This is what I love! Gonna start using it in single player so I can hotbar my food and tools.
  4. This would be a nice thing to have in the server options. Like give everyone an extra couple of points. Would also be nice if we could modify what jobs are available and such in mp or add in custom ones without a mod to mp. IE: MP Server: Trait Options: +4 free trait points for unemployed +2 for all others. (Could be based on each job type.) Disallowed Traits: all sleep effecting traits. Free Trait: (All players get this free trait.) Job Disabling Traits: (These traits will disable certain jobs. IE: Clumsy/Noisy type traits would disable the thief job.) Custom Jobs: Could be put into an ini file and just uploaded on server join. These jobs are only visible on said server as the information would not need to be kept for other servers. Custom Traits: Could also be the same but instead would be stored on client side to keep the information.
  5. For the OnGiveXP:MyLuaFunction I am guessing we would write our own function in a lua file? But how do we writeit? Currently the OnGiveXP function is DefaultRecipe_OnGiveXP(recipe, ingredients, result, player) So do we write it as something like this <ModName>Recipe_OnGiveXP(recipe, ingredients, result, player) and then write the rest of the info we want involved after? Or am I thinking this through wrongly? IE: could we just write a function at the end of the recipe or does it go in a lua file I find it somewhat confusing.
  6. I would love to see the option for a grid inventory system. Too much diablo style game playing makes me love them. Otherwise I would love to be able to make custom tabs for my inventory that count towards your base limit. (IE: Only show these items that I want to look at specifically) IE: Weapons, Tools, Edible, Misc (Where misc could be separated into further options if I wanted as in misc-medical misc-supplies etc.) It would be nice if I could organize Backpacks and bags into the same categories. Would also be nice to get a hotbar where we could drag items that are always in our inventory to it for quick equip and for seeing how much we have left.
  7. I think a corpse decay is necessary after awhile. Make it take 3-4 days in game and just have zombies added to the respawn count elsewhere to bring some extras back to replace the dead ones. This would allow for when a server has a mass zombie killing and then the next few respawns would have extra zombies popping up in some areas. (Would make traveling harder as the zombies might pop up in a road that was not traveled in lately and lie in wait for someone thinking it would be completely safe.) Things outside of containers should also degrade over time or break apart faster. Food left out rots faster than it would if you had put it in a bag/crate regardless. Anything with durability should break apart somewhat if left out in the weather and not properly stored. I think some zombies could be gave professions soon that modifies how they might look and what loot they might have. IE: You ran into a zombie wearing a doctors/nurses/medics/ambulance drivers uniform they might have medical supplies on the dead bodies.Sport Player Outfit: Based on what type of sports outfit they might have something unique on them like a bat or a helmet etc.Fireman outfit zombie might have an axe or raincoat or firemans hat etc.Stuff like that would be nice.

  9. I know you are adding in radio/tv stations but I had a question are walkie talkies coming to this build? (Was sort of hoping to see them after playing with the APCom - Ham Radios & Walkie Talkie mod.)
  10. I can never carry all my stuff T_T... I tend to hoard everything at random sometimes just because I don't want others to have the random shiny things I find (yes even in single player). One day I had 3 backpacks completely full of silverware and pens/pencils I grabbed it all and this was because it was all I could find in the online server almost everything was looted at the time lol.
  11. I have a couple sets of portable stoves. Got them for camping one set uses small propane canisters but can be hooked up to a larger one with a converter and the other one uses butane but we don't use it much.
  12. I think that if someone breaks into a locked box the items inside should be able to get randomly damaged or destroyed.
  13. Can we still use dirty water to water plants? Why waste good clean water on plants when you would rather use it to cook with.
  14. I say that all those books/magazines/newspapers/pieces of papers could give us different designs and such for furniture and buildables. Basic carpentry books give basic designs but you might find a carpentry magazine telling you how to make a unique looking chair or table.
  15. I think adding in different crafting types and making people find manuals for some to build things would work. This would also work for special designs and such. IE: Basic chair is all you can build of wood. However if you find an instruction manual you might be able to build a rocking chair or a different model of chair. Give those who chose a base skill in a crafting type some standard recipes that others would have to read books/instruction guides for. Some zombies (if they are given a job type before turning zombie might have an instruction manual on how to do something to teach the players.) There are also lots of libraries/bookstores/bookshelves in the game to hold special items of these types. IE; Carpenter gives you a bonus to carpentering (spelling?) skills however construction worker would not necessarily give you the same bonus. I mean as a construction worker you would be more used to building certain things so you might do better outright with building with concrete and bricks and heavy stuff than wood.
  16. This could also be a way to trade with npc's... Make it into a Barter System though as you are not guaranteed to get the definite worth for an item. Say an group of npc's set up a trade depot to trade for goods. They have wants/needs. They might really want that chocolate bar but they really need is medical supplies. In this case 5 nails might be equal to 1 bandage. To the npc's the chocolate bar might get you 20 nails base on your traits and how you went about doing the trade. What if you offered them the candybar for 10% more nails at the end of the trade and you had traded for 300 nails that would get you 30 nails instead of 20. Stuff like that would be a really cool feature.

So I was on a server a bit ago and accidentally walked into a campfire (well more like ran through as zombies were after me I sort of shot off a shotgun round when loading it for a quick weapon in emergencies) so after catching on fire I noticed I could not stop burning I ran back and forth left and right and my health quickly went to nothing at all. Not sure if it was because of the mod or not just thought it was funny that I basically went up in flames in less than 30 seconds.

  20. I can see it now the great food purge caused by all npc's over eating food! This will then turn into the death of all by some crazed npcs that have a food problem randomly shooting people and eating all the food.
  21. The only thing I use guns for right now is making zombies move towards me while I go around elsewhere to escape from them. Other than that the same problem exists on multiplayer still. There is always that one person who managed to get a shotgun (this I notice happens alot on servers that are marked RP and no kill on sight but happens on others as well) and then shoots at you to loot what you might have. I was chased on one server by the same person for almost half an hour at one point til I escaped. Luckily I did not get shot but at another time I was killed 9 different character spawns in a row in wp by the same person who seemed to be running between all the spawn locations looking for players. So I might only use guns lightly but in multiplayer they are still annoying when used by other players.
  22. They changed farming somewhat in the iwbums (made it take longer for cabbages! i love mah cabbages! seriously its the only thing i could grow lol.) so it will probably need to be reworked some.

I would like some workbenches and such to be buildable where you can store your supplies in/around them and just go next to them and get a build list of what can be done with the surrounding supplies and work from there. It does not need to give a speed bonus at all other than the fact you could build a better quality product IE: a door that looks better or a different model of chair etc... Using a workbench to fabricate the item could give it durability bonus and stuff. Also building in one area while teammates take finished items to install elsewhere could be useful as the main person is building while they just install the finished sections in the correct places. A way to deconstruct existing furniture in houses would be nice too. I would like to see the wooden dowel mod added to base game to allow for building without nails. Basically make it 1 or 2 levels harder to build each item meaning that quality can never pass 3rd quality without real nails. Screws should be useable to build with just as with nails.
  24. Normally yes but some of us board up the fences XD. I use fences on 2nd stories and board them up unless I use a sheetrope as an escape route. 1x board = no chance to jump off by accidental E press lol.
  25. It would be a nice feature. For the mods could you allow downloading from a site directly (or through dropbox or torrent like behavior from all people on server to allow for faster speeds) or would you do what TL2 does and download through the mod downloader/updater through steam? (chooses to connect through a server then finds mod info then exits to download the mods from hosts/steam) If through a site maybe make an admin check the mod first for viruses or just wait til steam workshop can be added as that would probably be for the best if worried about potential viruses.
