  1. Ya, I was afraid of that. I just read that the developers wanted to make the game more difficult and this was the only good way I could think of to do it. And just to clarify I just wanted the unity they had, not their speed nor strength nor mobility.
  2. I have seen a lot of zombie movies and played a lot of zombie games, but I have never seen a more frightening representation of zombies then these. It wasn't their speed nor their strenght, but their unity. It was more then them just working together, they really seemed to be of a single mind. I suggest that for this game, have the zombies work together. Have them be more then just a group of individuals. This means if even one see you all the zombies around also knows about you and they will amass to end you. I think this would really make the game more difficult.
  3. What about unarmed combat? Like prying a zombies skull off or gouging the eyes in, though I am not sure you can dig in deep enough to destroy there brain. Of course this would take awhile and wouldn't be a smart idea if you are fighting more then one zombie. I know you can stomp them to death, but I think more ways to kill them unarmed would be nice.
  4. Um okay, but it would be cool if your character would die of lung cancer if they keep smoking for sixty- seventy years.
  5. I am not a cross dresser, so I wouldn't wear a skirt but it would be realistic to be able to wear whatever you want. And while it may already be implanted this should also apply to clothes created down the road not just what the game currently have. So I support.
  6. I agree, is there gonna be a Woohoo option for our sims?... Wait wrong game. Anywhoo, Robert, what do you think of a tetris styled inventory system? I mean is the current inventory system a temp thing, and if so what will the final inventory be like and what are the chances of a tetris styled one?... Tetris inventories are my fav
  7. Offensive? Can't say I get how. I will be sexually depressed at the thought of being the last person on earth and never having sex again. Of course, I could just grab a walking corpse and commit Necrophilia... Though I would have a lot more to worry about then stds...
  8. Of course 50 zombies would scare anyone. Well not my brother, he is not scared of anything... Seriously, he is just weird. Anyways, you and Drlopta share a similar view, so maybe I should have a poll if bunch of people start sharing similar views.
  9. My idea is that once the player character have been around zombies long enough it would get use to them and would not be afraid of them any longer. Now the PC would obviously panic if it sees a hoard of zombies out of the front door of its base. But I just don't think that a person would always run around like a chicken with its head cut off every time it sees a zombie. Especially if that person kills hoards of them in its spare time. I had a general thread here, and after not finding any other suggestion like it I decided to make it into a suggestion. Some suggestions already.
  10. @Brick That would be amazing, though I don't know how that could be programmed in. The Xp way seems easier to program. However, I like your idea more. Maybe after you get npc you can get use to a life away from zombies in your fortified fortress, and one day, months later, you get use to you easy life and you would be panicked like you were in the initial outbreak.
  11. Okay people, going by the flow of the conversation I think this would be best in the suggestion thread. That assuming someone haven't already suggested it. This seem like something commonly thought of so it probably was suggested. Anyways, I agree with the skill idea. Since the way skills work, the more you kill the less you are panicked by them. Plus, when I think of people panicking I visualize people running around in circles in a burning building. They are completely out of their wits, and they would more then likely being burned to death. The more you panic, the weaker you are. So you would think the people that panicked in the burning building, and somehow survived would know not to panic the next time they are in a burning building.
  12. So I know that it is realistic for the player to panic at the sight of a zombie for a while at least. But after you kill hundreds of them, you would think that you wouldn't be scared of them anymore. Of course, you would panic if they break into your base. But if you are out scavenging you should be use to it.
  13. What I don't get, If there was gonna be a day one, how would it work? Twenty four zombies wouldn't stand a chance against twelve regular PZ humans. I mean, I took down a hundred zombies with nothing but an axe, I survived with just a few scratches, and I suck at this game. Would they just let themselves be eaten or something? Plus to be realistic, the first thing a person would do is run into there home, make sure there family is safe and have them barricade the windows and doors with furniture and grab their gun. They shouldn't have a problem with it either, its not like the zombies could catch up with them. Overall I think the developers should leave it as it is, this way we have no real idea on how it came to such extremes and don't have the urge to question how realistic it is. Well in that aspect.
