  1. The newest version should work with servers? I reverted the change that turned the mod off for MP after a serious PZ exploit got fixed by the devs. As far as I can tell, it does not.
  2. That's the same error I was pointing out up above since build 32.30 was pushed to stable. Essentially, something that ModelLoader is overriding was altered in 32.30 which ended up affecting server connections. If you were to tail your server logs for instance, you would never even see your friend attempt to connect. Basically with ModelLoader installed, this method: zombie.network.GameClient.doConnect No longer exists, and it needs to in order to make a connection to the server. Gotcha. I had already looked in my server logs and noticed that there was no evidence of her ever trying to connect, I just wasn't sure about the mechanics/cause behind it. Thanks for the info! The odd thing is, I can connect to the server just fine. It's not hosted locally either, it's through Fragnet up in Chicago, I live down in the Deep South.
  3. Hey Jab, can you tell me anything about this? Trying to get my friend on my modded server and every time she tries to connect this shows up in her console. http://i.imgur.com/vnoo1nS.png
  4. Raid police stations and gun stores. Alternatively, fire up Bedford Falls or Phoenix. Raid the police station, gun store, bunker, the armories in the mental asylum, and the military facilities. Trust me, you'll find ammo. From a realism perspective though, it makes sense that you won't find a lot of 5.7mm ammo. The Five-seveN pistol itself is pretty rare even among military/police, let alone civilians, and 5.7mm ammo is proprietary - only the FN Five-seveN and P90 use it. I'm not sure if ammunition is included in the mod makers rarity settings, but if I were you I would go with something more common like a 9mm or .45. Last point... Your average person can't aim for shit. It makes sense that huge amounts of ammo would get burned through during the zombie apocalypse, between fear/adrenaline, poor marksmanship, and the fact that (traditionally speaking) the only way to fully kill a zombie is with a head shot (which, by the way, is an incredibly small target made that much harder to hit by a zombie's erratic movements; any professional shooter is taught to aim for center mass, e.g. the chest, because small targets like the head and limbs are very hard to hit consistently and missing means you could hit an innocent bystander)... you do the math. I would love to see a mechanic for reloading your own ammo since I don't find a lot of ammo on zombies, but on maps with a lot of gun/ammo spawn points, it's really kind of pointless because you'll end up having more ammo than you know what to do with.
  5. Hey Svarog, can you PM me instructions for enabling Cheaterman for server use as well? Got a small private server I would like to use it on with my friends. Also using More Edibles and Gunman Trait. I like your mods, good work!
  6. I have plenty of patience, but it's both a blessing and a curse, I tell you. In addition to Steam screwing me on PZ, I've also been waiting for my server host to sort out why my server says it's "Running" yet nobody can connect to it, it's not showing up on the public server list, and when you save the server info manually it says the server's not responding.... sigh. Suffice to say I probably won't be playing much PZ tonight
  7. Most of the rifles that have civilian counterparts are the same way the STANAG mags are; The G3 and FAL, for example, can use both 7.62x51mm NATO in addition to .308 Winchester. If I remember right, the SIG 550 and 551 can also be changed between .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO. I /think/ the AR-10 and the SR-25 have interchangeable mags (they're basically the same platform IRL), but I'd have to double-check on that... which I can't do, because Steam downloaded the new PZ update without my permission and so now my game is FUBAR until either ModelLoader gets updated or I can find some way of rolling back my game to the previous version.
  8. Help is always a nice thing to have, however, due to legal concern over proprietary code (This is not an API plugin), this may not be a thing I can do, unless done privately (Private repositories). I would need to ask permission on what I can do in order to allow such project collaborations. I'm sure you understand that concern. I'm going to focus on getting custom clothes API implemented soon. I was close to completing a version for it, however, reversed it because I think I can do it better. Are you using 32.30? I don't support this version yet as I have yet to upgrade the mod to this version. After moving your mod out of my PZ folder and putting the backup copy I made of the original (and then verifying game cache through Steam.. and waiting for it to download about a thousand files...) I was finally able to get into the game, and yes, it looks like Steam updated PZ to 32.30 at some point today. Is there a way to roll back to the previous version? No point playing if your mod's not compatible with it.
  9. PZ started CTDing out of the blue today. Normally the console closes completely before you even get a chance to see what's going on, I had to run a batch file just to see this error (hinthint sure would be nice TIS if you guys had a dedicated error log, so far I haven't seen one) http://i.imgur.com/nwajWNg.png
  10. Friend of mine's running a small private server for the two of us and I never see any loot anywhere, and every time I try to open a container she sees this message in her console: "Error requestitemsforcontainer no square or invalid index" Everything works fine for her, which means it's probably something on my end. Ideas? I installed the map exactly as instructed. EDIT Disregard, she didn't install the map the way I told her to. But I'll leave this post here anyway in case anyone else runs into that error.
