  1. I think adding the possibility of make concrete walls will be great. It will aloud the player not only to build something better (and stronger) than plastered wodden walls, but also to build more high-big buildings. (you know woods and nails aren't good for that, if you want to keep a realistic touch to the game) Also would be easy to add (I think) 'cause you will need only a "Bag of Cement Powder" (could be made like the "Plaster Powder Bag") a "Bucket with water" and a "Trowel". For all the youngest out there that's what I mean: Uploaded with ImageShack.com The lv. of carpentery to use the cement should be around 3 or so. I think that because I'm a construction worker in real life and if you in lv.3 carpentery can make a decent stairs (that are hard as hell to do with wood, let me tell you that!) you must be able to use cement. That's it guys. Let me know if is not new or whatever.. thanks!
  2. Wow! You follow so many rules man!! I'm a lot more simple and I've managed to survive: [ URL=http://imageshack.com/i/04sp62p/]Uploaded with ImageShack.com. Now in my second attempt I'm Uploaded with ImageShack.com Anyway thanks for sharing your experience! Good luck to you too!
  3. mmmm.. interesting! maybe it's worth a trip for me also.. Yeah but what's life without "risky business"? Nice job man... but 6??? sounds almost impossible to me so far!
  4. Nice dude.. mine is on "No Happy Ending". "hoof it over to Dixie." where is it?
  5. Hi there zombie-junkies.I would like to know how much time did you managed to survive in v.15.And mostly HOW you decided to survive, you know better than me that there are so many ways to avoid death in PZ. Put some screenshot and (if you have the time) tell me about your surviving skill/method. Do you have establish your base and put all your efforts to make it your ultimate fort? Farming, barricating, cooking for long-term food, get out looting only when is necessary, etcetc.. Are you a nomad and travel around the map? Rely on wild and looted food, sleep in random places or in makeshift safe-house/tent, just surving day by day, etcetc.. Do you play like Rambo maybe? Or anything else you do. Edit: in SURVIVAL MODE of course!
  6. Water bottle + rain barrels. The end of all "drinking" problems.
  7. Hello! Any news for the invisible wall? It's bad for my nervs to restart every time I want to pass a self builded door or window. Thanks!
  8. Oooh come on! In the .15 verison you can easly survive over the month.. THEN the game begin to be a LOT, and I mean A LOT, more harder.
  9. Agree. We just need to wait i guess.. If you are bored you can always build a safe house next the town.. no chance to get bored there that's for sure!
  10. If it need realism, well the number of zombies is just fine the way it is. (It's a damn zombie apocalypse, you know?) Yes, and maintaining realism is important, but not up unto the point where the game becomes less fun. I don't personally think there's a problem with the zombie numbers right now but it should come down to the community as a whole. But (to kaleb_22's point) they cant add huge amount of items to the game just to be realistic, especially if they have no use. The current build already has at least 10 items that aren't used for anything; wallets, lipstick, wedding rings, dice, playing cards, etc. Mmmh.. maybe you have survied more time than me and the zombies don't show up at the West Farm. I'm will go there soon because the game litterally force me to keep moving now. The zombies show up after a couple of weeks in every long-term safe house that I've had so far and destroy all. I think that I can't really be settled down I need to be a nomad. But if really in the West Farm there are no zombies for long time and you need to be only a farmer... well you are right, the game can't be just that. It's still under construction so let's see.

  12. Dont worry, within a week they should have moved on. If they haven't just grab a pistol and lead them away. lol I am expecting it to happen in my game soon. However I've been stock piling an armoury and I plan to fight when the horde arrives. hopefully without fatal consequence. Give them some! Now I've a new fort in the little cabin near the farm.. but I can't dig and farming. This is ever happend to you? (to can't dig)
  13. Man... it has happened! Lots and lots and lots of zed have just destroyed my mighty fort! But I've managed to get out of there alive and without a scratch.. now I'm in the farm nearby.. I've to give up on my frist safe-house.. that's sad. But anyway you were right man after a month or so, they come and get you. I will add your info to the tips if's ok to you.
  14. That's a HUGE problem. Thanks for the tip! But I think you can build windows on the walls, not sure... going to take a look!
  15. Really? Does real word have maps? So if it's a game were you, just like in real world, have to cook (I HATE the cooking in game!), the food; I think it's quite fair to know where the f.... I'm going. Don't you think? I can visualize the area I am in (in real life mind you) and create a topographical map in my head with my imagination. So, technically Yes, you can have a topographical map in the real world. I talk also about paper topographical map. In-game cartography? Me likes. No man! I already hate cooking so.. I mean you go in a gas station, in a house, etcetc.. and find some maps of the place! sure, no names of the shops but still have the town street and buildings.
  16. I'm new on the forum, as you can see , but so far, I can get rid of them simply using the houses or the trees (switching run and walk) and then go on "stealt mode". If they lose side and sound of me, it seems that they go when they have last see me. If there is a house they try to smash windows/doors of course. I only kill zombies when it's super necessary. He's asking whether or not you guys are playing like 9.14 or 9.15. Because right now in 9.15, I can barely go into town without seeing said zombie conference, and I'm seeing way higher concentration even on the fringe of town than I ever have. Being stealthy isn't really an option when you have to walk past a wall of them. I'm in 9.15. And I have played only the Desura realease before that. There are some areas that are impossible, it's fair enough. But, at least that's what I do, if you attracts them and then try to lose them. You get a chance to pass around. Maybe. Also sleeping near to where you want to go it's good. It seems to me that in the morning, maybe for the sound of the NPC (that are not there but these bastard have elicopters, rifles and machineguns!), they move. Is not easy and is not smooth. Let's say that you have 2 chance to make it against 10(15)?

  20. Sure, no problemo! It's well done!
  21. Ahahahah! Augh! If they only had added the "Holy Plant" it would be all much easier!
  22. Hi fellow survivors! I'm new in this forum and I hope you will excuse me for my bad english. I've decided to do this cause on the Forum I have read that a lot of people don't survive much at the begin, despite the Survival Giude on PZwiki. From my little experience I've managed, so far, to survive reasonably well. I'm NOT tring to be presumptious here, I just want to share what I have learned. (for the little that is) You should be able to do this between the first 2-4 days. (after zombies increase in number) 1: Take a look at the map and find the easiest house to use as a fort which is (in my opinion) near the "Train Station". (is the ONLY house with the wooden walls surrounding) and start "building" your safe house (use sheet on windows, turn lights off...) 2: This house is only two hours from the "Big Warehouse" near the Highway; get there and loot al the needed tool (Hammer, Saw, Axe, Nails, Trowel, Bucket and last Sledgehammer). If you don't find some of the tools, look if you have enought daylight (and enought space in your inventory and containers) to go to the "McCoy Logging Corp." (another two hours from the warehouse) if so go there, loot and sleep here. (It's QUIET safe) 3: Get home. Make some planks and close the only entrance of your fort (walls and door) and built some rain collector barrels. Later in the game you can start fortifying and secure for real. 4.Your next necessary trip, always in my opinion, is the "Cortman Medical". It's about 4-5 hours from your fort. So maybe plan to sleep somewere around. Edit#1: 5. When you are out to looting try to have an objective. Then smash a window in a house near your objective, this will (hopefully) attract the zombies. Also yelling and drive them away from your objective is good. Edit #2: 6. Your fort can't be forever (at least this one can't). 'cause after a month or so the zombies are gonna take over. And they come in a HUGE number and don't ask permission. So, I will suggest you to change your hideout in something that's not near to populated areas. From there... start looting, farming, crafting, or simple smash some zombies!
  23. I think the number of zombies is fine just the way it's. Don't make the game too easy.. Ok, is not easy at all and that's the good thing about it!
  24. Noticed a couple of bugs: 1: Invisible wall when I come back to my safe house. (can't pass the door I've builded). 2: Rain barrel don't work properly, I've buided 9 but just one randomly take some water when raining. Anyway GREAT, GREAT GAME. (sorry for my english but I'm Italian!)
