When looking at new map from blincode, I noticed something that made me wonder - why aren't there any stumps after cutting down the trees. I think it would look a lot better to see where exactly were the trees you used to expend your safehouse, instead of having just an empty land.

Absolutely! Burning the corpses has to be right in there along with cleaning up the blood. I wouldn't be surprised though if that's already on the menu.
With respect to getting ill from the corpses...I'm hoping that at the same time you implement that you also implement a counter, such as letting players use improvised 'gas masks' or something to help them avoid the exposure, particularly if they are hauling bodies to some central disposal location.

For the raging zombie suggestion I doubt that'll be added, as the devs have said no to special zombie types. The idea of "smarter" zombies is interesting, though I would feel cheated if I've barricaded up my safehouse for one zed to come up and open the door and let his friends in.

Good idea. I always found it odd how your character could throw his vision way down the road or far away from himself without any tools (like binoculars). Must be using his innate scrying powers to watch the horde far down the main road.

Currently, barbed wire has only one use per roll you pick up. This means you can lay a one square stretch of wire with it, that's all.
Considering that barbed wire is very scarce and weighs 1 unit each, this makes it highly unlikely that you will ever find enough to make a complete fence around an area.
I would suggest that barbed wire ought to get at least ten uses per roll, twenty uses would be more realistic.

Pretty sure this has been discussed before, but I don't see any reason why not. Personally I'd kinda like the ability to build wood burning stoves out of metal or stone that I can then place inside a house to warm the place up and cook inside during winter and heavy storms. Or drag a charcoal grill into the house and stand it on a piece of sheet metal so and coals that fall out don't burn the house down.

I was just thinking it would be pretty cool to see the doors of PZ take advantage of the new 3D engine coming in. My suggestions:
- DOORS SWINGING if it's a windy day, would look cool and could possibly creek if it's an old door or on a shed and possibly opening the front and back door chance of wind rushing through house/building causing one of the doors to slam loudly.
- PEEK Mechanic where you can open door slightly to see if there's any Zombies behind door, but could cause zombies to rush the door and push you back. Possibly even drill and carve a hole into door to prevent rushing...
- PICKING locks (I know it's already been mentioned, but...) could be done by using a 'bump key'. Very easy and effective method of breaking into houses with old locks and keys can be easily crafted with a filer and any key that can slot into lock but can't turn. the skill can determine speed, sound and quality of the bump key.
- DIVERSION mechanics where you could open door on building and attach fish wire or whatever to which you can slam door from distance providing an opportunity to sneak past to objective. Or an object like a bucket or glass on top of half opened door that would crash into ground causing either a diversion or a poor mans intruder alarm to your safe house.
- (Edit) BARGING through the door animation could cause injury but may need to do it desperate situations.
- (Credit to Etsamaru) KNOCK ON DOOR where you can attract zombies to that specific location. Useful to attract zombies in a building to draw them out... Or lead zombies to certain area of building and you sneak around to a window or other door to escape.
Just some ideas I'd thought be cool... Let me know what you think.

Not sure if it's planned or not but if not then I'd like to see them.
At the moment you can equips bags and backpack but you don't see them on your character.
It'd be nice to see your character wearing them.

In some servers items are provided for you, but for the norm, I think it would be great to have gear correlating to the giving job
Fire Officer:
Axe
Police:
Gun/baton (when more weapons are implented), donuts (lol)
Park Ranger:
Bag, First Aid
Construction Worker:
Hammer, Lunchbox
Security Guard:
Flashlight
Unemployed:
CV and cover letter (lols)

This would fit for the binoculars . So if you have none (or no rifle with scope) you can't "attack/stealth"zoom anymore.
