  7. Agreed - also with the new cooking system in place it will allow our chefs to cook their meals on something besides an open flame. Thinking a bit further perhaps an addition onto the cooking system that takes into account what you are using to cook the food on/ in might give a cooking "boost" - something along the lines of less likely or more leeway before the food burns in a more advanced oven/ grill rather than over a fire
  8. I think this is a good meta game idea to force players to decide to help their group member or let them handle it themselves. +1 Very well written post.
  9. On a side note propane gas would be able to fuel generators in the future once implemented. (Should not be simple tho)
  10. Once the developers have implemented explosions (i.e. grenade), I could see potential for a propane bomb. But realistically this is unlikely as creating explosions from propane bottles is nearly impossible, and explosions as weapons or traps may affect difficulty/balance of game detrimentally so might not be included. As much as I'd like to throw a grenade.. I work as a commercial equipment repairman currently and have a lot of experience with propane. Although the gas is not as dangerous as the common perception of it, It would still be simple to have a pilot light near the object and if you had a way to puncture the container ie gun it would create an "explosion" closer to that of a fireball rather than gunpowder. How i see this working is when they eventually add a type of "crafting" system add a gun, tripwire, lighter (with a limited duration), perhaps hammer and nails and voila you have a propane trap. One that would need attention to ensure the lighter was always being replacedd. edit: Or minus the gun and one could shoot it manually double edit: as for the balance of the game that would need to be taken into consideration but would provide some much needed defense objects for the already venerable safe houses.
  11. I feel propane tanks in this game is a must not only for cooking but for traps and explosives. In any apocalyptic setting you better believe people will be using this gas in a variety of applications. +1
  12. Not a bad idea but, I feel this would be extremely overpowered as you would gain permanent positive traits without gaining any permanent negative ones.
  13. So after further thought, perhaps the level system could also involve the amount of people one could lead in a group action. The more levels in Teamwork - The more people able to help the person.
  14. Yeah the thought crossed my mind. Ill try to come up with some more complex/ difficult interactions that might be a bit more difficult than just boosting my friend up to a window. Perhaps the system should be based on a percentage fail, but the higher a persons teamwork level the lower that fail chance is. Hmm ill give it some more thought Also thanks everyone for the feedback!
  15. Hello survivors! I propose a new system/skill to be created - Teamwork I feel the ability to accomplish tasks as a team is vital in any zombie survival scenario. What better way to reward such actions than with new abilities and skill-sets. How i imagined this working is having an option upon right clicking another player / NPC thereafter would display a list of options for said player to choose from. Examples: Ask for a boost - Used to boost another player/NPC into a otherwise unreachable height. Fairly simple but possibly cause falling damage if failed. Help walk/ carry- One day i imagine someone might lose a leg from an emergency amputation, or a person might pass out from drinking too much whiskey. However the scenario plays that person will need a shoulder to lean on and this will be the way to do it. Push object - The bigger the object the more strength needed to push it, two is always better than one. The ability to move larger objects than one could themselves. These abilities would require a confirmation from the receiving player to assure both parties are game. Various difficulty levels would be assigned to the new abilities and unlocked by gaining experience similar to other skills. I feel this request is one that would clearly take much time and effort to implement but also could be one that changes the dynamic of the game to push players towards a more team oriented play style. Thus creating more dynamic player interactions and game depth. Please share you opinions/ ideas

  17. Im not sure anyone can answer since soft wipes seem to be broken atm Ahhh ok thanks for that hopefully someone can figure out how to get their server soft reset and enlighten us all!
  18. I am very interested in the OP question in regards to the trees and player made boxes. Please can someone elaborate with some personal experience or knowledge if the trees come back after a soft reset, and if items stored in player made crates disappear.
