  1. OMG IT TOTALLY WORKS!!!! EG AND NASKO YOU GUYS ARE MY HEROES!!!! If I have any problems in the future is the best course of action to start another thread if I don't find any that fit my case?
  2. I uninstalled the current driver and now I don't even see a display adapter option in the device manager section. And my screen has shrunken with black edges surrounding it!!!! This is scaring me very much
  3. I did that after extracting the zip and a box pops up and says that the best driver software is already installed.
  4. Will I be needing the exe for anything?
  5. Do I unzip the zip using winrar? I promise I genuinely do not know and am not trying to be as incompetent as possible!
  6. Is unzipping the same as just clicking on the setup exe and clicking next all the way until finish?
  7. I chose this one https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22521〈=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20Home%20Premium%2C%2064-bit%20version*&DownloadType=Drivers&OSVersion=Windows%207%20Home%20Premium%2C%2064-bit%20version*&DownloadType=Drivers I downloaded it and tried to install it and I get a box that says: "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer. Set up will exit."
  8. Oh I hope I did not come off as defensive in my last comment! I am just making sure I tell you absolutely everything! I am very grateful for your patience and assistance EG! Following the steps has taken me to this page but I do not know what to put for product name. Any suggestions?
  9. I am doing as the guide says because I got this message: "A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel® Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer." So then I go to this suggested page--> http://support.toshiba.com/support/driversResults?freeText=PSK2CU-00E001 But then I see a bunch of stuff about and other programs but I don't see anything about graphics drivers. Am I just looking in the wrong place?
  10. I keep freezing up (personally not the computer) on this page --> http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=psk2cu-00e001 after it finds my model on the site since it is a custom one. I have no clue what to click on. My computer model is PSK2CU-00E001 but I don't know what to click on or even what to do after I have downloaded it.
  11. I deleted the zomboid directory as you said and the driver still had problems. I am copy/pasting the dxdiag to this post. When the game crashes the black box that opens next to it closes as well. Out of curiosity, is it possible that my computer will just not be able to play the game at all?
  12. Downloaded and installed Zomboid and Java this morning and I only get to see "this is how you died" (death by bashing face onto keyboard). The screen will either stay entirely black and sometimes it will show me the clock and time control even the clothing inventory but the rest of the screen is completely black. I am also including a screenshot of what happens when it cuts to black just in case it helps. How "good" a computer do you need to have to run the actual game? I have a run of the mill Toshiba from three years ago if that helps. I'm also running windows 7 if that is relevant. I didn't have any problems getting the demo to load yesterday (or playing it until 3am) but now I can't get the full game to work. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I am also very tech UN-savy so please be patient and use small words with me as I will come off as an idiot but I swear it isn't to waste your time. I looked around the forums a lot on my own and I am still suffering the same problem. Maybe I just needed more guidance on the instructions from like a mod or admin.
