  1. I hope someone mods in Plank from Ed, Edd and Eddy. I second this motion
  2. Have you guys considered some form of "roadmap" to show the community what your goals are and the order you'd like to achieve them? Of course I realise this wouldn't be set in stone but it would be nice to see and could show what you'd like to achieve leading up to Steam release and beyond.
  3. Something similar for "Time survived" under the clock would be good for YouTubers/streamers, so the viewers can see how long without either working it out themselves from the clock and calendar or asking the streamer to bring up the window.
  4. One of my friends was looking for some software to do something similar and without the heavy price-tag that comes with photoshop or the like and after some googling I came across Krita (http://krita.org). It looks like a rather awesome bit of software and is completely free. Maybe something like this could give you a bit more freedom without having to fork out any cash Also something like MyPaint (http://mypaint.intilinux.com/) could be right down your street as it has a large selection of brushes and other tools. Finally I always highly recommend Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) for those finishing touches. I hope these suggestions are of use to you and I look forward to seeing more of your work
  5. No, they're sitting out there in the open. I've made 3 and smashed them and then remade them, and it's rained like 5 times, and it still doesn't work. If it helps, I built them on top of a dead zombie. I've had the same issue, barrel was out for the best part of 2 months but couldn't access its contents, also on the water related bugs I have found if you get to the point where the water shuts off and have to exit the game, when you reload it you can get another use out of a tap, I have tried this on a few sinks and gotten the same result.
  6. that's the exact opposite of me and i love the music i wish i could turn it up When I play PZ I turn it up to 11
  7. Managed to beat my previous time by a couple of weeks, albeit in .16 but I'm still happy with myself. As you can see in the pics above, as things hit the one month mark my safehouse became somewhat crowded and I had to have words with the locals (my baseball bats are very chatty ). On the food front, I raided both the pancake and burger places early on but never in the nearly 2 months touched any of it, 300 berries stocked up saw me through very nicely. I did have a go at farming but with the water barrels being moody about relinquishing their contents I just filled my face with more berries. I am determined to hit my next marker of 2 months though.
  8. Whilst trying to climb out of the upper-back window of my safehouse my game froze and when I tried to close I got this error pop up;
  9. Ok just got the invisible wall bug in the worst possible place, at the top of the stairs in my own safehouse xD As you are having trouble catching this one I have also included my save file as reloading doesn't seem to fix the issue. http://www.mediafire.com/download/86rgz0geb7v88sb/16_wall_bug.zip I hope this helps you in some way as it has just forced me into starting over and this run felt like a 2-monther xD Edit: So I found the cause of my issue, I had built 2 storage crates under the stairs and it appears they blocked any passage upwards, once I destroyed them and reloaded the game I could pass by once more.
  10. Me again I noticed this error popping up in my terminal when I launch the game, Also I'm having a problem where some of the context menus aren't responding, mainly noticed this at a sink or two. I could bring up the menu but not select the option to fill a bottle of drink, exiting and reloading the save seemed to fix this.
  11. Can you try unzipping this over the build? http://www.theindiestone.com/patch/ExtractToPZfolder.zip Just tried it and got this in the terminal; Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem: at zombie.core.Core.getInstance(Core.java:191) at zombie.GameWindow.maina(GameWindow.java:787) at zombie.core.LaunchDialog.main(LaunchDialog.java:208)http://www.theindiestone.com/patch/Take2.zip It worked!! You are a legend good sir!!!!
  12. Can you try unzipping this over the build? http://www.theindiestone.com/patch/ExtractToPZfolder.zip Just tried it and got this in the terminal; Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem: at zombie.core.Core.getInstance(Core.java:191) at zombie.GameWindow.maina(GameWindow.java:787) at zombie.core.LaunchDialog.main(LaunchDialog.java:208)
  13. I have run into a problem, I run the game (after updating the lwjgl thingy) but when the menu loads I can't click on any of the options, I would paste an error log but it doesn't crash or even let me close the game (I have to kill it in the terminal). OS: Ubuntu 64bit Download used: Linux AMD64 (tar.gz)
  14. I beat my personal record on my last .15 play-through so was really happy with myself especially with the new challenges. My record stood at 22 days but now it's at a more healthy; I would have made it much longer if I hadn't gone on a run to the medical place but I got bored and had to wander lol. My next target is to double this time and then from there try to get 6 months if I can
  15. I had a feeling it was all done out-of-reach at the moment, it would be nice to have more access to the cooking process as I believe that is going to be a key area for food mods to shine, for example I want to develop a system for baking but would require more control over the cooking process to pull it off well.
