I'm working in a VPS and I get the next error.

Can you run "ldd /home/soporte/skvox/SteamCMD/pz/projectzomboid/libRakNet32.so" ?

I update the server to the beta "iwillbackup..."

 

and a new error appear :S

Ahh.. It might be CPU architecture. Can you confirm exactly the specs of the system you're running on, including server OS version.

Anyone have a link to libc that has GLIB_2.15 in it? Compiling took me 8 hours last time.

So everyone using CentOS and having this problem:

 

Follow this tutorial with at least 2.15 and you should be good to go.

By using that guide the 2.15 did not work on centos for me personally. One of the devs on it mentioned it has been fixed on 2.16 and using that guide and changing the 2.14 wget to 

wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/glibc/glibc-2.16.0.tar.gz

and continue with the guide and it will work perfectly for those having issues with 2.15.

Hello,
also I am trying to host a server on centos 6.5
I'm following this guide: http://snipt.org/BfWa9

The various steps are:

1. wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/glibc/glibc-2.14.tar.gz2. tar -xvzf glibc-2.14.tar.gz3. cd glibc-2.144. mkdir glibc-build5. cd glibc-build6. ../configure --prefix='/usr'7. make8. sudo make install

I replaced it with the version 2.16

Resolved!

 

I downloaded from here http://ftp.redsleeve.org/pub/steam/ the following files:

 

glibc-2.15-60.el6.i686.rpm
glibc-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm
glibc-common-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm
glibc-devel-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm
glibc-headers-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm

 

Then I wrote in the console:

rpm -Uvh glibc-2.15-60.el6.i686.rpm \         glibc-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm \         glibc-common-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm \         glibc-devel-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm \         glibc-headers-2.15-60.el6.x86_64.rpm

And finally I launched the server:

 

./projectzomboid-dedi-server.sh
