EnigmaGrey
On the main menu, do you see the word Steam by the version number? If this is on the same computer as the server, are you entering 127.0.0.1 in the LAN IP address, as well as the IP of the server as visible to the Internet (just google the word ip to get it). EasyPickins
Can you join any server? Try joining our 'Redboid' server.
Runda
Yeah, tried it no problem. Haven't had a problem on any other servers.
EasyPickins
If it isn't a problem on the server's end, there may be another process already using the TCP port on your machine. If you open a DOS prompt and type this it will list all the open TCP ports on your computer, maybe you'll see 163XX is being used.netstat -an -p TCP
Runda
As advised, I checked and it was not in use. EDIT: Okok, so I did it while connecting and this is what happens - cfghjgcfhnjcfhtyg It is there while connecting (but is 16312 cause someone is in there??) and then when it failed, it is gone. EasyPickins
Is it always trying to connect to that same port 16312? I wonder what happens if you fail to join, then someone else joins right after, does the other person connect to 16312? Running netstat on the server might reveal something as well. EUDOXIO
Hi EP, it happens on every port on 163XX range, check my screenshot of servers console, with the 16315 port Runda failling to connect, and other user connecting right after. It happens to some players, some of them can connect after trying a few times, whiles others are stuck forever on this error. Hope you can help us, i dont know what more to do with this
Runda
Server port is 16311, when I connect and someone is on it (one person) I connect to 16312, if many people i go one more up so like 16313,16314.. ect At least that is what I have seen
