IndieStones Secret Plot Twist Ending

CodeName 'TheGilbert' ;

Spoiler

After surviving in game for 15 long lonely years you one day find a hidden door behind the bins at Spiffos, opening the door reveals a dusty but fully functional elevator.

Catchy upbeat Caribbean muzak comforts you as you descend beneath the dead city towards whatever new horror awaits.

With a cheery 'DING' the doors slide open, across from you, glowing red in the dimly lit maintenance corridor you see a big red Grog Classic vending machine, you slide a piece o' eight into the slot as instructed and enjoy the refreshingly cool taste o Grog as you stroll care-free down the corridor towards the exit - for some reason the world does feel as grim as it has for the last 15 hellish years, this place actually feels a little familiar - something you can't quite put your finger on is reminding you of your childhood,

A near by sign informs you that this area is RESTRICTED - PARK STAFF ONLY - you'd better get out of here before someone catches you!

Pushing the heavy door open, you step out into the sunlight and into the vibrant din of SPIFFOS ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE WORLD - you can hear the screams of thrilled theme park customers riding Spiffo new ShotGun Roller Coaster - URGH THE LINE IS STILL SO LONG!!! Your can of Grog is empty now, you had better go find your mom and dad, they'll be worried about you. It feels like you've been off playing zombies for AGES!

A teenage girl dressed as 'Dead-Lemmy' hands you a Spiffo balloon - Wow this has been you best day ever!

Actually according to the lore I got from the broadcasts, there were 2 waves of sickness.

The first wave is the initial one, limited only to Muldraugh and Westpoint. People got really sick, died, and then reanimated.

A few people were immune to the airborne sickness, but they would still turn from fluid contact, I.E bites and scratches.

The military quarantined the area for a few days. But eventually there was a scuffle with the military and the evacuated people. This developed into a gunfight.

This attracted a large Horde, hundreds of them, who overwhelmed the checkpoint. Somehow the sickness spread all over from that moment, namely, the second wave. The second wave kept spreading until it was a global thing. There are still immune survivors though, even in the second wave, who only turn through fluid contact.

The way it's described makes it very believable.
