EasyPickins Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Make sure you are both on the same IWBUMS version (34.19 currently) Make sure it says (Steam) next to the version number in the main menu. Your friend should invite you using the game's own Invite Friends screen after he/she is in the game. After your friend sends an invite, you should get a message in Steam chat. EasyPickins Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 It's possible you have a compatible router, but plug-and-play is disabled on it. You'll have to configure your router to turn on plug-and-play or just forward the 3 server ports manually. This is assuming you have a router at all. thatguyhaze Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 ok so i pulled out my old router, i was using my isp modem as my router since it has wifi and all of that crap built in, my log now says "UPnP-enabled internet gateway found". However paco is off for the night, so i guess we will test it tomorrow. Is there any way i can test to see if my server is working properly without another person?
