  1. This is an excellent suggestion! Bravo, Strider.
  2. Yeah, I think I'd sooner use some Johnnie Walker Black as a disinfectant. ... And then have a party.
  3. Hey, Neo-Scavenger does it. ALL THE COOL KIDS DO IT. ...Plus its a videogame.
  4. Thank you guys for the great feedback! I would LOVE this. Even if the equation was simple, like this: 1. Roof tile catches fire. (I say tile, because PZ's walls, floors, roofs are tile based.) 2. Within random amount of time, roof tile 'Burns up'. (i.e. is destroyed.) 3. After roof tile 'burns up' random chance to create falling debris Now how this would be animated and how it would interact with the player is quite tricky. (Being isometric and all.) What would a falling object in isometric view even look like!?
  5. Personally I feel items that others would consider to be a "bad idea" in a zombie apocalypse should be in the game, just for the sake of the probability someone, somewhere would really try something... like this. Hear hear for anti-suggestions!
  6. So I suggested this awhile back, and after combing through Rathlord's lovely "Commonly Suggested Suggestions" post and not finding it, I figured I'd bring it back up for discussion. The idea is simple enough: Pour the gasoline out of the Gas Can, then onto the ground, couch, body(s), and then spark it up with the lighter, matches, Molotov, burning stove, what have you. If pouring onto the ground, you could 'trail' the gas to or away from whatever you may plan to burn. This would many applications to many things; distracting a horde, burning invading bandits alive, making a fancy escape. (Or suicide!), burning dead/diseased bodies Or to satisfy the pyromanics. (i.e. Me!) Honestly, I'm pretty sure the dev's planned to put this in at some point, (otherwise why have something like the Gas Can as an item.) but wanted to see if anyone had anything to add to the idea? Cheers!
  7. Definitely Yay, but I think the Dev's are taking care of core mechanics before they add these wonderful little details.
  8. I really like the idea of the player's sleep being interrupted by screams. "Should I investigate or try to go back to sleep?" (You'll need like 5 Beta blockers to calm you down enough in order to sleep.)
  9. Everyone poops. Zombies know this.
  10. This sounds awesome. Would creep me out quite a bit. Here's the pro's and con's I see of it so far: Pros: Cells are quieter than walkietalkies. Can be put on vibrate. Can receive messages. Could be used (maybe) as a weak light source Cons: Nokia don't run on batteries yo. !BUT! Maybe if they implement a class/job of electrician, you could craft a makeshift charging station? Would there really be cell reception even after the grid goes down? ...And that's all I got for now.
  11. I agree with you on one part of this. This is meant to be a very MINOR tweak. If it takes more than 5-10 minuets to implement, its not worth it. But I take vitamins on a daily basis, and sometimes, those sh*ts go stuck in yo throat yo, and won't go down til you drink water. Just a small tweak to add some immersion to the game. (for me anywho. Maybe I'll just mod it in.)
  12. This ones a quickie. Drinking water ANYTHING after taking pills speeds up its effects. ...Yep.
  13. I happen to create a thread similar to this on the old forum. Indeed you're right, there needs to be some kind of direct interaction with the other player. The one suggestion I had was shoulder boosting over a high wall... and... uh... well that was it. Hmm. MY WORK IS DONE HERE.
  14. Did a quick scan on the forums to see if this had been suggested already. It had not. So here we are. Usually I try to write something witty or clever, but I'll just skip right to the part where and I suggest something, and try to dodge the flaming arrows afterwards. Why not be able to fill bathtubs so when the water is shut off, you at least have a reserve? I know this may seem redundant as wells are going to be put in, but I have a feeling that wells will be mostly in the farm-like areas, not in towns. (I.e. West Point.) Now two for one! If not that, could we use bathtubs as places to sleep, or as a storage area? Silly I know, but could be used to store soap/shampoos (which in some comical fashion could be crafted to make the floor slippery? Okay, that's way overboard.) ...I think I smell something burning.
