Hey hello

Recommended Posts

Hey, I couldn't really find an introduction thread/section, fortunately someone on the chat said I would be able to post something here... If this is in the wrong section or anything, please move it/delete, thanks!

So hey! My name is Doqqy, and well, I've been kind of looking for a new forum/community to post on, I noticed I still had Project Zomboid installed and figured there'd probably be a forum for it. I just read through the rules and it seems like the staff is a pretty cool bunch. I remember playing this game quite a while ago, so I'm not entirely up-to-date with the new content/patches. They do look PRETTY AWESOME. I can't wait to build a gigantic fortress, and wreck some zombies!

A little bit about myself, I'm a Dutch dude, living in the Netherlands. I speak three languages, Swedish, Dutch and English. Next year I'm going to go to university. I've had a pretty big love for video games since I was a kid and I doubt I'm going to quit that soon... I've got several hobbies, I enjoy recording playthroughs/commentaries, I'm not the best at it, yet it's fun to do! I'm a relatively creative person and like to make things.

I'm 18 years old, so I'm relatively young, I got a somewhat serious approach on life, but I love to have fun with things as well.

I realize I'm kind of drifting off at the moment, but I'm hoping to find some cool people here and have a good time.

Thanks for reading :]

Welcome!! If you're looking for a way to let out some of that creativity, there are great opportunities for modding and mapping PZ, once you get familiarized with the game again.

The mapping tools can be found here: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/4674-map-tools/ ;)

Modding, items and mapping, all have their own separate sub-forums, where you can find and ask stuff.

Whoa, that's a bunch of replies, thanks everyone! :D

It looks like I'll have a good time here because you guys are all really friendly. I don't really know what the Chili is but it sounds kinda dangerous.

I speak three languages, Swedish, Dutch and English

How come you speak swedish?

I've actually lived in Sweden for quite a bit, first up north and then in Stockholm. I was actually planning to do my studies there, but I couldn't get in the university I wanted to go to... When you live somewhere learning a language comes faster than you think, from my experience at least.

I see, well I was just curious as I'm from Sweden. I went to the Netherlands once, but the only word I remember is hej, because it's exactly the same in swedish.

A lot of things are really similar. It can get kind of confusing though :P

howdies! When we're not out fishing IRL I am loving the game. 40 year old husband/dad, live in Pennsylvania, US. Currently trying to sell this game to my wife and kids so we can play multi-player.

Devs - thanks for your hard work

Players - thanks for the guides and tips!
