More than two bags?

Is it worth carrying more than two bags? I'm looting a house and there are 2 backpacks. I already have a backpack and a normal hiking bag, with the backpack on my back and the hiking bag equipped as my secondary.

So... Should I take a backpack or maybe even both?

I usually carry at least 3. I'll carry like a backpack or a tote unequipped with the things I need for travel in it, like my water bottle, a few bandages, a couple food items, a sweater, maybe a flashlight, etc. Then I'll carry my two largest bags equipped for looting purposes. It's just easier to keep everything organized that way I've found, and I have video game inventory itemization OCD.

VGIIOCD is a disease that affects many. I also usually carry 3 or 4 bags. 2 lootbags: 1 for food, another for weapons and surivival gear(matches, flash lights, water bottles, etc), An emergency bag(usually a tote), and occasionlly a 4th if I know i'll need extra loot space. But then again my record is only 9 days so what do I know?

I feel like once you start getting better bags, like the duffles or hiking bags in the newer build, you're not going to be able to carry more than a couple full bags of stuff anyway. At least I haven't been able to. I usually choose stout though, and I know with the strong perk you can carry more than that. Before you find stuff like that though, and you're still dealing with shopping bags and school bags there's definitely a reason to have more than that.

oh yeah, I never carry more than two duffs. There's no point unless I'm taking a long trip, then I'll take a backpack or tote with emergency gear and the duffs for loot.

I've found that in the steam beta build, I can carry 2 normal hiking bags as well as a backpack completely filled up before I get encumbered. I only equip one bag at a time and have the other bags inside of the equipped bag. I used to have two equipped, but now I need to use the fire axe with two hands or it's just not as effective.
