Game Ideas/Suggstions -> please move into correct forum

Uhm sorry i post here but i cant post in suggestions and i could not find a pinned thread for the reasons so i post here instead!

 

First some praise for the Developers: Im gaming for about 20 years now and i must say: I love this project and recommend it to everyone i know, with the latest build introduced its already one of the best games in many years! Please keep going!

I made a small list of things im missing currently and i think many people would love to see them, probably you have thought of something similar already but have priorities on other things right now, but i hope you consider the things and the community likes it as well!
So here we go:

how about very Rare Items:
- Pistol suppressor
- Generator that can run efficent with alkohol (whiskey, wodka)
- Solar-cell; for example: ten super hard to find units could power a refrigerator with medium cooling efficency, 3 units power a lamp, requires rare recipe or elektrician class
- Greenhouse made from collected greenhouse acrylic glass, allows to grow SOME vegetables during winter but harvest is less efficent
- Zombie Protective apparel; such as wests, leg and arm protection from skate wear or police equipment but with additional weight/reducing stamina

Some other ideas:
- More Furniture, Decoration and tilesets; makes exploring and building much much more enjoyable, doors can be taken, such as metal doors
- During winter, food could be preserved inside a craftable icebox which must be located outdoors
- fruit, vegetables and mushrooms could be preserved for 12 months by drying in a cabin; maybe with a special shelf?
- Fish and meat could be smoked with wood and a smoker (could be craftet from a metal barrel & screws)
- craftable bed made of natural materials only, but its not as efficent as a bed made of better materials
- Fire can be light only with wooden sticks and burning material but it takes much longer and the attempt might fail
- craftable Vinegar through Recipe; with Red OR white-wine/Berrys OR fruit & empty soda bottles!
- craftable primitive indoor Fireplace/Oven
- Charakter can get influenca during winter, when freezing too long; effects: lowering stamina, causing cough (noise), sleeps longer, considerable less health, chance to die if not treated with tea AND herbs OR Medicine. This would work well with new apparel such as winter clothing which reduces your carrying weight (heavy jacket, winter shoes, wool-cap, scarf, pants) the more you wear the less the change to get sick.

Some suggestions:
- Gasoline and propane consuption is way too high please create a sandbox option ranging from fast consumption to infinite!

-No suppresors.

 

-Dunno about that type of generators, guess you mean the ones with ethanol? If so, whisky does have some percentage of ethanol on it, but you would need a whole lot of bottles of whisky to be able to keep up with 1 gas canister, also you would need to mod the generator to do that kind of thing and i am not even sure if that could have been done in 1990+.

 

-Solar cells are weak as hell, you would need a lot of them and they are not even efficient at all, also [something about solar panels in 1990 here]

 

-Now the greenhouse idea is something i can get behind, it would be cool.

 

-Armor will be in the game someday, so you can get more chance of slipping by.
