so ive been trying for some time now to get into the beta. i read the thread and got the password but all i get is beta access code invalid even after trying to copy and paste the password. anyone else having this problem or am i just dumb?

the password is

 

We do not give out the password, as per the thread.

The password works. Make sure you're copying it correctly.

Yup, rain is a known bug :)

 

There is TOO MANY difference within the outside rain sounds vs the indoors rain sound.

It becames totally absent when you get indoors =)

 

 

(it could be nice to add some white noise effects on radio/tvs/walkies too...)

 

 

Yup, it's a known one. RJ'll make changes in the next build he releases :)

Is there a way to connect some generators together?

What i mean is, when you have found some of them and you have some self made timers and cables, it would be great if you could auto start on generator when the other runs out of gas.

Iam planning a long trip, but since i have my fresh veggy in the fridge, it will become all rotten when i return.

Also why are we able to dismantle Tvs but similar objects like a Microwave fe cant be dismantled?

IWBUMS 33.10 released:

  • Rain sound varies in volume by intensity of the rain.
  • Number of lightning flashes lowered during thunderstorms.
  • Fixed Spiked Baseball Bat not inheriting it's condition from the original Baseball Bat.
  • Added missing PZServerSettings class files.
  • Added the new zombie-thumping sandbox option to PZServerSettings.
  • Fixed health-panel actions sometimes executing when they weren't allowed.
  • Fixed heartbeat and other sounds not playing.
  • Fixed Add Sheet and Remove Sheet action click-spamming exploits.
  • Fixed heavy-breathing sound playing for remote clients in multiplayer.
  • Fixed tutorial breakage when eating the dead mouse.
  • Fixed refridgeration effectiveness sandbox option High/Very-High being the same as Normal.
  • Fixed food-age bug with "Months since the apocalypse" sandbox option (was adding hours instead of days so food was extra-rotten).
  • Added a filter to many of the sounds so they sound muffled when the source is out of sight.
  • Fixed bug adding Mayonnaise (wasn't marked as a spice).
  • Fixed not being able to add spices once max ingredients had been added.
  • Fixed issues using Shift-E to toggle curtains.
  • Fixed zombie footstep sounds not always playing in multiplayer.
  • Fixed fishing animation not playing if player was already aiming.
  • Fixed animation and sound issues when opening windows.  There was an extra "struggle" animation when opening an already-unlocked window.  There was an extra "rattle" sound playing when a stuck window was finally opened.
  • Turbotutone added translations and controller support to the furniture-moving and TV/radio features.  The pickup/place/rotate functions are accessed using the Back button on the controller.

That's nice - so as you can add more ingredients now, the last part of the sentence from Wiki is no longer relevant I guess? (I haven't tried doing much cooking so far, so gonna to check it later.

BTW, I've been playing latest IWBUMS for a while now, and one thing that should probably be considered is how many radios spawn, which might be a bit too much. Also, all of them have a fully charged batteries, so right now it's really easily to stock these up.

Also, if you leave the game in the middle of a TV/radio audition and load the save back, the audition is streamed from the beginning again, though that may be by design.

There's also some minor issues with the furniture system that will most likely be polished down the road eventually, but otherwise I really like those two new additions to the game :)

But it did not know how to play it very difficult.
Korea is difficult to dialogue in the game more difficult.

 

Good radio system is added, but did not use it at all in Korea.

The main problem is not possible to chat in the game.

If you enter a Hangul(=alphabet) is displayed as blank.

 

The Korean is displayed if it has already copied and pasted.

So even if you modify a little it seems to be input.

Please Fix the chat Entry.

 

If the font is a problem already raised in Korea Translation Forum.

I am a player from China, but also encountered the same problem, but I made a patch to fix the problem

Try this patch, it covered the game directory, should fix

Um, okay, so.. I've been trynig for the past week or so to play PZ in the IWBUMS.. but it starts up.. and loads something about "apcom" while it's loading tiles, characters, erosions, etc. and then, bam STACK TRACE when it get to the menu. Unfortunately, there IS NO menu. just the background, nothing else.

In C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Zomboid there is a file called console.txt if you could post it's contents on something like pastebin.com and share a link it would make finding the problem and solution a lot easier.

Yo Devs! Just noticed a bit of a mishap, it seems you accidentally wrote 31.10 instead of 33.10 on the ''IWBUMS Beta'' counter on the game's front page. Just saying.

Zombies seem to not hearing gunshot events anymore here

I was just about to post about the zombie activity. 

I noticed the same thing in my local server, gunshots go off and I look outside and see zero zombie activity. Haven't had the "good" fortune of being visited by a chopper event yet, but I wonder if the zombie migration is straight up broken atm. 

I have zombies on high and so far the outskirts of West Point, as well as the rich neighborhoods aren't as crawling with zombies as I thought they would be at this point in the servers life (around 11 days). My guess is there isn't any migration going on, so zombies aren't clumping together like they should be.

My PC went kaput and I tried new 33.10 with my old MacBook. Not a great success... When I tried to start survival mode I'll get only blank screen (with some textures of the house) and nothing works. This is what console.txt says:

Ahhah! It has something to do with deaf -trait. So I guess this new sound system can't handle that. I made another character without deaf trait and almost identical and it works.

I wonder if this new audio system copes with null, or even uses null as a logic flag / state.
