My suggestions

This game has INCREDIBLE potential.

 

Here are my suggestions to see that it reaches that potential:

 

- elevations in terrain. Underground bases, mountain houses, caves etc

- vehicles, bikes, skate board, cars, maybe boats?

- bigger map or randomly created maps

- improve guns, as it is right now, they do not do enough damage to be worth the noise and the zombie attraction that comes with it, also consider silencers for weapons to make them stealthy

- a sneak mode

- visible representation of the noise your making, like some kind of circle radius that shows your attraction range

- different kinds of infected, sprinters, jumpers, stealthy ones

- npc bandits and survivor camps

- npc tradeposts

- more configurations options, as it stands the game doens't even offer me resolutions to pick from as I'm on an ultra wide screen 2560x1080

 

- remove the flash plugin from your website. Flash sucks and is dying and many people disable it.

 

That's all I can think of for now. I'll update as I come up with more stuff. Great job Indie Stone(rs)!

4-Weapons are OP to kill zombies, the thing is you need not to panic, you need to aim and also you need aiming skill (character skill, not you), also they are not worth it because that is their entire point, use them as last stand.

9-Dunno, maybe? You will be able to trade with them, dunno if some NPC is ballys enough to have a trade center

Good to know. Perhaps some mods will take care of things that aren't planned.

As for the flash plugin, this website told me that flash was trying to run. Perhaps it was from another browser window though.

Enter sneak mode by holding down the right mouse button (holding your weapon up in the air/aiming) it all depends on your Sneaking/lightfooted skills and an extra bonus with the Inconspicious Trait.  :)

-sewer under streets where we ca go and explore and subways

-brass knuckles

-sniper guns with scopes and sniper mode to kill on big distances

-suppressors for weapon(in military objests for example)

-crouch mode(we can pass under windows easier without detection and we are harder to detect in tall grass )

-semi-auto shotgun

-ability to use two one-handed weapons at once

-electro fences

-revolver

-gas stations

-exploding objects

-ability to throw some objects(to distract zombies for example)

-airports

-docks

-zombies can group in hordes in some situations

-rocket launcher and other explosive weapons(might be very useful to eliminate hordes)

i feel moving the read before you post to the front of the title may help a bit... i only read it because i couldn't figure how to sign up right away.

But now that i notice, he hasn't even played the game, look at his suggestions:

If any of you are this dismissive in the future, warning points will be handed out. Do no hide behind the stickied posts, as though they give you the right to be rude.

Our goal is to have a frindly community. If that means we must face some redundancy, then so be it.

 

Good point about hiding behind a sticked post, from my point of view i wasn't rude, but maybe my post can come off as rude and that can be always a problem.

It will be removed entirely from the forum if you insist in taking it as a literal rule.

 

It just a heads up though, but not a lot of people read it which is sad, a total removal would mean that people would fight endlessly with "The devs said no to that", "why tho", "they said no from the get-go", "show me a source".

 

Maybe not like that but you get the point.

 

I dont know if it can be possible in this fourm, but i seen other fourms that before posting in it, you must read a thread the first time you enter a cretin subfourm, after that you can post.

 

Maybe when someone new enters the suggestion fourm for the first time, they are redirected to Rathlord post and then after that they can post?

 

It could avoid cases where the community jumps on a suggestion with the link in the comments.

People.will just skip it. The only path is to accept that these sort of suggestion threads will continue to happen, put up by people excited and eager about the game, unaccustomed to TIS's forum. Linking itself isn't the problem.

So be it, but the problem of the community kinda hiding behind that link is still going to be there, maybe just link it and say "Sorry this is a no from the Devs" without explaining why will suffice?

i just feel having the title changed a something to catch eyes may be a little bit better then hearing confirmed or denied idea over and over. its not a problem but it i feel it would be a little bit nicer.
