zombies freeze, warp back or vanish entirely in MP

I know it's probably a bad connection thing, but happens to me too often, and I don't have this much trouble with other online games. Any way to solve that?

Try a lot of other regional near servers (if you haven't tried yet).

 

I had the same problems on most servers (playing from EU on US-servers), now found a nice server in EU, and the zombies now hunt me instead of disapearing and reapearing all the time.

 

But it also depends on the players logging in.

Everytime when people connect, I noticed a little lag. And with tons of dead corpse lying around, huge self build forts, and zombies in compacted hordes, there are more lagging factors.

 

So, as a not-admin, a short distance (or good infrastructure) to the server resulting in a low ping should be the best to make the zeds normal.

Every time someone logs in, the game saves the map data. According to EasyPickins this causes the odd zombie behavior.

Not much you can do about it for now.

yeah its very prevalent on servers with a good population, if you find your self a smaller server the impacts on the zombies doing these things will be a bit less.
