Where's My Folders?

Hello,

I was wondering how to mod Project Zomboid; I know you have to go to the game folder, open it and add the files in and stuff, and I know to search on youtube for help or look on fourms. So, the problem is I can't find my project zomboid folder, i look all over for it on my computer. I can't find the folder that I need to mod, am I being a derp and not seeing the obvouis? Or am i doing something wrong? Help? Please?

Are trying to make mods yourself or add a mod in game? If the latter, then the mod files go to %username%/zomboid/mods -folder (usually on C: -drive).

 

If you're trying to modify the game files, it depends if you're using Steam or Desura. I'm assuming Steam since it's the more common. So go where you have installed steam (for me it's C:/Program Files/) Then go to Steam\SteamApps\common\ProjectZomboid. There are all the game's files. If you're editing items they're under media/scripts and most other is under media/lua. And from there just poke around.
