How to update Mods

Not really, there were some significant updates to the code from 26 to 29. The code itself would have to be cleaned up and updated. Though some of the features of that mod are already implemented in the base code now (E.G. moving/disposal of bodies getting infected by them is sleeping next to them etc.)

Thanks for your help. Also, is there anywhere that I might find an updated version of the Mods that I could use?

Unless the original authors update it themselves or they give permission to another modder to take it over, unfortunately not. A lot of modders will get burnt out of modding at this stage in development because the base code changes so much and thus causes issues with their mods.

I would ask them real nicely to either update it or allow another (which could be you) to update it.

As far as mods on these forums go, if they don't have any explicit license, the credit where due permissions are assumed to apply (it is still polite to try contact the author of course): http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/2530-mod-permissions/

Yes, you are right. I err (possibly too much) on the side of politeness. I know I would not appreciate if someone absconded with my mod (that doesn't exist yet mind you) when I went on vacation for a week or so during a major update. So I treat others as I'd like to be treated.
