Multiple guns to same clip item

Title is pretty self explanatory.

 

I don't see why it would not be true but can several guns use the same clip item?

Several guns use the same type of ammo but rareily use the same magazine. There is simply no need for that in PZ because of the fact that there is only one of every type of firearm in the game. A sniper, a shotgun, a pistol and maybe an automatic rifle in the future.

The reason I ask is that I am making  mod. While you are correct, most guns do have proprietary magazines, some guns like say an AR-15, M4 and M16 all use the same STANAG magazine... I am wondering if I can make 1 magazine for all three guns

HIGHLY doubt that there will ever be an automatic weapon in this game...that is not a mod

and you forgot a gun. we have  a Pistol 9mm, a Shotgun, a Hunting Rifle 308, and a Varmint Rifle 223.
